VNR Group fully acquires Polish media company Wiedza i Praktyka - setting the course for further growth
WARSAW, August 19, 2025 - Wiedza i Praktyka (WiP), a leading specialist information company in Poland, announced today that VNR Group has become the sole owner. VNR Group has acquired all remaining shares from the co-founders. The acquisition deepens the 28-year partnership and positions WiP for further growth and long-term expansion in the Polish market.
The corporate strategy, management structure and product offering will remain unchanged to ensure seamless continuity for customers and partners. Co-founders Roman Kruszewski and Witold Konieczny will continue to contribute their strategic expertise as members of the Supervisory Board.

The move marks a new chapter for the company, which was founded in 1997 as a joint venture between Roman Kruszewski, Witold Konieczny and the VNR Group. The sole ownership of the VNR Group underlines its confidence in the Polish market and the WiP team.

A graduate of the Warsaw University of Economics and Executive MBA programs and numerous training courses in Poland and abroad, including in the fields of management, marketing and sales, communication and modern technologies. He began his professional career as a specialist in market and marketing research at Market & Communication Research Ltd. Since 1995, he has worked in the media industry - as a marketing manager, CEO and managing director in the publishing industry. Since October 2013, he has been the Chairman of the Management Board of Wiedza i Praktyka sp. z o.o.
Roman Kruszewski
Journalist and publisher. In the 1990s, editor-in-chief of the weekly magazine Prawo i Życie. In 1991, he founded the publishing house KiK Konieczny and Kruszewski, which publishes the monthly magazines Przegląd Podatkowy, Glosa and Przegląd Prawa Handlowego.
