General questions about your application

After your application, our recruiting team and the hiring manager will receive your application documents to get a first impression of you. This means that your documents will only be viewed by a few people. Later in the process, all interview partners will also receive your application documents. Once your application process has been completed, the data will be deleted from our system in accordance with the GDPR.

Yes, that is possible. You can also work up to 40 hours at the VNR Group during this time. It is important that your unit knows the time frame early enough.

Questions about your online application

Certain data about you is required so that we can gain an impression. Our mandatory information therefore includes your CV, your master data (e.g. name and contact information) and your general data. In addition, we are happy to receive any other information - especially subject-related information (e.g. certificates, cover letter, other supporting documents).The more we know about you, the more you can inspire us!

We will always try to get back to you within a few days. During the recruitment process, you will be in constant contact with one of our recruiters. If you need feedback in the meantime, you can contact us at any time using our contact form.

If you change your mind and would like to withdraw your application, the best way to let us know is to use the contact form. Please provide us with brief information about your name and the position for which you have applied. We will no longer consider your documents and will delete them properly.

Please let us know that you have a severe disability and what we should consider in order to provide you with the best possible support as a potential employee.

Questions about our vacancies

You can send us all questions, no matter how general or job-specific they are, via our contact form. We will forward it internally to the right contact person, who will get back to you as soon as possible.

We would be delighted if several of our positions appeal to you. However, we would ask you to apply for only one of your preferred positions. You are welcome to let us know in your cover letter which other position you are interested in. We will then forward your application to the relevant hiring manager.

Questions about your interview

In the first step, you will have 1-2 phone calls with the specialist department and our People & Culture team, depending on the position. During the subsequent face-to-face meeting, you will meet your future manager and various colleagues from our company who work closely or further with the position. Before the interview, we will discuss more details about the process and your interview partners with you. In preparation, it is always helpful to think back on your experience, as we ask biography-related questions. A small practical exercise can also be incorporated into the interview, but you do not need to prepare for this.

Yes, we will reimburse your travel expenses to your applicant day with us. Please use the "Travel expense reimbursement" form attached to your invitation email for the applicant day. You can then send the document to rechnung@vnr.de.

Questions about starting the role

Our full-time employees work 40 hours/week with flexible working hours. We also offer other working time models, such as part-time.

Every employee receives an individual onboarding plan for the first 6 months. This sets out relevant tasks, contact persons and processes. We also have a series of exciting onboarding events to help you get to know our culture and our systems better. Of course, you will be in contact with your personal contact person at all times, who will support you during your onboarding.

We have fixed feedback loops: 3-month feedback, a probationary period review and an annual review every year. However, as we have an open feedback culture, feedback can of course be obtained or given at any time if required.
