Since our founding in 1975 with our very first product, The Business Idea, we have been supporting our customers with independent information, insights, and services. Our greatest strength? Direct marketing. Our organization and systems are optimized for effective marketing and rapid product testing.

We publish content created by independent editors with strong opinions and practical experience. Our journalistic approach is all about usability – from those who do, for those who apply. As a group, we don’t dictate editorial viewpoints. Within ethical guidelines, we give our editors a platform to share reliable, verified information and opinions. Whether it's print, webinars, or digital formats – everything is designed with the customer in mind.
We also offer complementary services like workflow tools, e-learning, consultancy, and more – all to support our customers in implementing what they learn.

Our Marketing

We are data-driven and scale both our marketing and fulfilment through state-of-the-art centralised systems. These systems allow us to create, test, and further develop offers for and with our customers at speed.

Our Employees
We thrive on great ideas and the dedication of our most valuable asset: our people. We foster an entrepreneurial mindset at every level - the ideal of “intrapreneurs.” We invest the equivalent of one month’s salary per employee each year in personal development and training. Over the past 40+ years, we have trained more than 200 apprentices and trainees, over 40 of whom continue to work within the group today. Our focus is on nurturing long-term, internal career paths, where performance and potential matter most - not formal credentials.
