platform X launches partnership with Five Monkeys Group – Expanding platform partnerships and subscription management
Bonn/Frankfurt, March 30, 2026 –platform X GmbH & Co. KG is launching a collaboration with Five Monkeys Tech GmbH. As part of this expanded partnership, platform X will handle subscription management for the company’s special-interest magazines in the technology sector. This move further strengthens the already established and trusting relationship between the two companies.
Among the most significant titles in the portfolio isconnect, described by Five Monkeys Tech as a “premium media brand,” which has been regarded as a leading publication for users and decision-makers in the telecommunications industry for more than three decades. With its independent tests, in-depth analyses, and high editorial credibility, connect plays a central role among the media brands of WEKA Media Publishing GmbH and is regarded as the leading publication in the telecommunications sector.
As part of the expanded mandate, platform X will take over theoperational management of subscriptions for the titles *connect* and *Audio+stereoplay*. This includes, among other things, contract administration, address and payment management, billing, accounts receivable, and the management of service channels for end customers, including logistics. The goal of the collaboration is to streamline processes, further improve service quality, and tap into additional growth potential in direct sales.
In addition, Five Monkeys Tech will increasingly leverage the technological capabilities of the platform X infrastructure going forward. This includes, in particular,modern subscription shopsandlanding page technologies specifically designed for marketing subscription offerings. Furthermore, the platform X marketing team will provide support for thedata-driven refinementof sales activities.
Another key component of the partnership is the use of the PressMatrix digital publishing platform, which will be deployed for seven of the media group’s titles in the future. These include Digital Photo, connect, and Photo Presse, among others. PressMatrix, powered by platform X, brings publishers, associations, and publishing companies into the digital age. PressMatrix supports more than 400 clients in converting their content into multimedia apps and digital portals. PressMatrix offers innovative solutions in the field of digital publishing, thereby opening up new opportunities for publishers and subscription companies on their path to digital transformation. Five Monkeys Tech utilizes the full range of PressMatrix features, such as the Promotion Manager for issues, subscription integration, and push notifications. In addition, numerous AI features are also being utilized, such as the AI chatbot, the AI article feed, AI summaries, and AI audio. The goal is to distribute digital content even more widely and create new avenues for reaching readers.
