Richard has been leading the VNR Group as a second-generation board member since 2017. As a source of ideas and a forward thinker, he initiated a process of change within the company from the very beginning. Since then, our business strategy and corporate culture have evolved rapidly. Richard is known for rolling up his sleeves and being actively involved with each of our teams.

Waldemar Lokotsch

As head of Finance and Accounting, Controlling and Planning and our Legal Department, he is our numbers expert. He has been contributing his expertise to the VNR Group for over 20 years and has played a key role in our success story. Hardly anyone knows our group of companies as well as he does.

Michael is COO of the VNR Group and Managing Director of platform X GmbH & Co. KG and PressMatrix GmbH. From the very beginning, he has built platform X with passion and technical expertise and played a key role in the merger with PressMatrix, marking a milestone in our strategic development. He leads the teams in Marketing, Sales, IT, Data, and Customer Service, and is always there for his employees with guidance, support, and great empathy.

Norman Rentrop

Norman Rentrop

In 1975, at the age of 18, he founded the Norman Rentrop publishing house in his hometown of Bonn-Bad Godesberg and kicked off our unique journey with his first product, “Die Geschäftsidee” (The Business Idea). Norman Rentrop has always pursued the mission of making our customers increasingly successful, both privately and professionally. To this day, this remains the focus of our activities. Under his leadership, the company grew steadily, reaching countless milestones. Norman Rentrop has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board since 1999.

Obituary: Honorary member of the Supervisory Board (1929-2015)

Friedhelm Rentrop

From 1999 to 2004, Friedhelm Rentrop contributed his expertise to the success of the group as a member of the Supervisory Board and later supported it as an honorary member. He was active in local politics in Bonn for 20 years and served as a member of the German Bundestag from 1980 to 1983. An expert in international tax law—particularly German-English and German-American tax law—he also served on the board of the Association of Tax Advisors for over 25 years.
